Charges for quantity shortfalls or surpluses

§ 29 (7) of GasNZV and § 12 (1) of the WINGAS TRANSPORT general terms of grid access are the general basis for the charges for quantity shortfalls or surpluses of standard load profile customers. Because of the ruling BK7-08-002 passed by the German regulator the invoicing of balancing group contracts is made with a preliminary calorific value only. That’s why since 1 October 2008 a charge for quantity shortfalls or surpluses is necessary for registering load measurement customers, too.

The charges for quantity shortfalls or surpluses between the balancing group network operator and the exit network operator is necessary since 1 October 2008. Before that there have been bilateral procedures between exit network operator and shipper fixed in the supply contract.
